The Blue Line

THE BLUE LINE
Like the sky or the sea which opens horizons, blue closely refers to serenity, dreams but also to wisdom.
More committed than ever to preserving the diversity of the oceans and landscapes that inspire our collections, we have created La Ligne Bleue.
A new eco-designed line, using materials from organic farming or recycling, to offer you more responsible fashion.*
Since 1989, we have strived to find the right balance between nautical style and urban look, between the trendy and the timeless, between elegance and comfort, while favoring natural materials.
With the creation of La Ligne Bleue, we are aiming for a new balance: that of a fashion that is both desirable and sustainable.

Our commitments
Eco Design
Mat de Misaine is committed to eco-design...
With each new season, we strive to strengthen our commitment to more sustainable strategies and enhance the value of our products. That's why we've chosen to sustain natural materials with more organic or recycled cotton and eco-responsible manufacturing conditions with better traceability.
This evolution is at the heart of the DNA of Misaine Mat.
Committed to preserving the diversity of the oceans and landscapes that inspire its collections, MAT DE MISAINE has created the Blue line . An eco-designed line using materials from organic farming or recycling and promoting a more responsible production method.

Virtuous matter...
Flax
Linen is an eco-responsible material that stands out for its low water consumption and low energy impact during its processing.
Thermoregulating and breathable fabric, it provides a feeling of freshness in summer while retaining heat during winter.
European FLax™ is a certification that guarantees the origin of the flax and its traceability from fiber to finished product, thanks to rigorous controls carried out by an independent third party. Flax fibers come from sustainable farming practices, without irrigation —except in exceptional circumstances —and without GMOs.
Cotton
A product that has been made with organic cotton, without pesticides, without chemical fertilizers, without GMOs and with reduced water consumption indicates that the product limits the use of new resources by using recycled cotton.
The challenge is twofold for cotton, the main material used in the fashion industry. We want to reduce our impact by using organic cotton.
# ecological fibers
#Environmentally friendly production and processing processes
#Respect and improvement of working conditions
#Ban on hazardous products (inputs) such as toxic heavy metals and aromatic solvents
GOTS Certification
international independents: Cultivation without pesticides, without chemicals, without GMOs, regulated water consumption and a social component on all product processes.
MAT de MISAINE is GOTS certified by the ECOCERT organization in 2022
This very precise and demanding standard aims to improve commitments such as respect for cultivated land , treatment of wastewater, protection of human rights and the non-use of chemical products.
It covers the entire process of the manufacturing chain: raw materials, processing, manufacturing, through to labeling, packaging and marketing.
This international certification concerns organic cotton products (organic cotton) and offers a guarantee to our consumers.
We are working to increase the number of references covered by this certification, a real asset for our brand and in line with our DNA.
